Owen Forbes is an emerging, Toronto-based photographer and visual artist. He is currently attending Toronto Metropolitan University for the Photography Media Arts program. Owen currently works in several different artistic genres, focusing on portraiture and cameraless processes such as cyanotype. However, Owen predominantly focuses on portraiture work. He loves collaborating with other artists & creatives. His primary goals are to help his collaborators find agency and a voice for themselves, being seen by others in the ways they want to be seen while still maintaining his unique voice and presence in every project. He believes that kindness and vulnerability are virtues and not weaknesses, he wants to be honest, kind, and vulnerable with his work and hopes that it inspires others to feel the same way.
